Gathering Graduate Students Across the Region
The students write and edit reports and documents for class activities using this tool. I can view the edits and comment right on their documents. Google Docs and Spreadsheets:
They also share between weekend classes using WEBCT tools: Chat with whiteboard, discussion board, blogs and email.
Group Dynamics
Assessments are done on participation and products produced through electronic collaboration. This process is required by NCATE (Accreditation Organization.) This is easily done with their wikis as well.
Training on wikis can be easily done by setting up a sample with multiple pages to work on at the same time. An example is found at:
