HOW TO - Upload a File

 

1. Place your cursor where you would like to attach the file
2. Click 'Attach File' in the edit bar
3. Select the file
4. Click upload
5. Once the file apears, click OK

 

You can upload PDFs, Word docs, and even Powerpoint Presentations.

 

HOW TO - Insert an Image

 

1. Place your cursor where youw ould like to insert the image
2. Click 'Insert Image' in the edit bar
3. Select the image
4. Click upload
5. Once the image appears, click OK

 

 

Tip for using photos:

Depending on browser, right-click-copy on the picture will copy either just the web address of the photo or the address embedded in img src code.

 

Students using MS Exploder on their PC copy and paste into their wiki the img src coding which puts the photo on their page without eating up file space. (A wonderful feature!!!)  Firefox on most computers will only copy/paste the address onto their wiki (Firefox has the both abilities: Copy Image, Copy Image Location). 

 

Is there a tip for all browsers to insert img src code without having to edit the source?
